90.9 KCBI “Hearts” Kids

Kids take the stage this month at 90.9 KCBI, as a Valentine tradition continues!

 .
DALLAS, February 1/KCBI/-- As talk of Sunday’s Super Bowl game circulates, 90.9 KCBI spent the morning of Friday, February 1 talking about “Super Kids.” The Dallas-based radio station is pulling out all the stops this month for kids and has coined the theme “Loving Christ, Loving Kids.” All month long, the voices of kids will be featured praying for their schools, introducing hourly prayers for active members of our military, announcing songs, and more.

Another key player this month is KCBI’s “Bongo Rod”, writer and producer of the Saturday morning “Coconut Hut Radio Show,” which airs from 7-11AM (CST). Bongo Rod will be popping up at various spots around the Metroplex all month long to meet kids and to give them a special devotional book provided by Child Evangelism Fellowship. Go to www.kcbi.og or www.coconuthutradioshow.com to see the next location for a “Bongo Sighting.”

A long-standing tradition will take place on Thursday, February 14: KCBI’s Valentines for Kidz. This has become an annual highlight for KCBI and its listeners. Hand made or store bought valentines can be mailed to or dropped off at the KCBI station in Arlington between now and February 8. These valentines will then be hand-delivered by KCBI staff on Valentine’s Day to the kids at Scottish Rite and Cook Children’s Hospitals. Listen to 90.9 KCBI on February 14 for ‘live’ coverage of this memorable day with some of the young patients from our area’s children’s hospitals. Go to www.kcbi.org for more information.

Join 90.9 KCBI all month long as kids take the stage! Listen daily throughout the month of February for KCBI’s “Loving Christ, Loving Kids.
