Howard Dayton and Dr. Robert Jeffress Join Forces on 90.9 KCBI’s Morning Show
The Cofounder of Crown Financial Ministries and the
Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church Dallas will
‘talk money’ on Thursday morning.
DALLAS, January 16/KCBI/ -- Tomorrow morning on 90.9 KCBI, two powerful voices will weigh in on a touchy topic: money. Howard Dayton and Dr. Robert Jeffress make their appearance at a time when people are planning their 2008 budgets and preparing for April 15th. Dayton has been teaching Christians how to handle money for years, and Dr. Jeffress recently laid out his vision of expanding FBC Dallas with a plan of action in place for good stewardship. So, these two guests come together on KCBI in a timely fashion.
Howard Dayton founded Crown Ministries in 1985 and developed an effective small group financial study. Crown Ministries merged with Larry Burkett’s Christian Financial Concepts in September 2000 to form Crown Financial Ministries, the world's largest financial ministry. In his early career, Dayton was challenged by a business partner to study the Scriptures and discover God’s teachings about handling money. This led Dayton to write several books, including Your Money: Frustration or Freedom, Your Money Counts, Free and Clear, and his most recent, Your Money Map.
Dr. Robert Jeffress is the new senior pastor at First Baptist Church of Dallas. He began his ministry there this past September and can be heard each Sunday morning on KCBI. He was previously senior pastor at FBC of Wichita Falls, TX. He earned a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He has written sixteen best-sellers, including Grace Gone Wild, Hell?Yes!, The Divine Defense, and his most recent book, Second Chance, Second Act. Dr. Jeffress also hosts a daily sermon series called “Pathway to Victory” that airs daily on 90.9 KCBI at 2:00PM.
