Paul, thank you for sharing!  I appreciate your sending me the invite to Google+.  Here, on Wall Street Journal, my group page, I post my thank you!  To those friends and family of mine, I can send you an invite too.  Just send me an email or contact me here.

Google+ By Invitation Only - I Got it!

With thankful heart, I am grateful for Paul Kirch, President, ActusMR, Inc. for sending me the invite to join Google+. The first time I heard of it, I was in Colorado. The portion of the Colorado where we were, we had no Internet connection or phone; even 4G, especially the 4G. Because of no connection, it was impossible to sign in and jump on the opportunity to join Google+ before they got filled up that day when the news came out about Google+.

By the time I got back home, I tried signing in to Google+, but was impossible, because it is by invitation only.
While I was talking with Paul last week, I briefly asked him about Google+. "Yes, I got it." Paul replied.
What? He got it! "I can't get in. No matter what I tried." I said disappointingly.

"No problem, I'll send you an invite. It's by invitation only. I'll send you one." Paul replied.

I got busy with my projects, and left the subject alone, until today, on my birthday, when I received an email from Paul, with a link saying "Paul Kirch invited you to join him on Google+".... Ah, I clicked on it and there it was. I was in.

This is a great marketing plan from Google. Nothing is bigger and better than free PR with the news media putting you on top of the headlines for days about something they can catch you doing wrong, especially for a company as big as Google. And yet, this big bad news gave Google+ a big announcement to the world in an instant! There, from that news, is where I first heard of Google+. Amazing!

Then, additionally, Google is making this Google+ so private and only by invitation, and you might or might not get in, providing space is available on their server, and so forth. Well, it creates great hype and demand from the desire in many people, me for example, to have and must have this Google+. Amazing game plan. Love it, Google! Great job!
