As our 2007 coming to a close, we reflect back to the many wonderful meetings and events that we have for our members all through the year. As I type this message, the laughter and the good times of our fun and exciting meetings and events were flashing back to me, down my memory lane. Most of all, looking back in time, I am very sure, many of member and visitors have definitely gained more knowledgeable on Networking, PR, Do-It-Yourself PR, business, entrepreneur and Internet entrepreneur experiences. Most of all, many of our members have gained a lot of business contacts from the 60 meetings/events that we had during 2007. Many have built wonderful business relationships, close great many deals, gained new businesses and partners, and most of all, many news media contacts.
A year ago, many of our members have no clue and some have no way of getting as close as a face-to-face meeting with the news media. With our monthly PR Event with Jeff Crilley, he brought in speakers, such as Troy Dungan from WFAA channel 8; J. D. Wells, radio talk show host from KLIF 570AM; Monica Egert from Dallas Morning News; John McCaa, Anchor from WFAA, Channel 8; Jody Dean from 98.7FM KLUV; Huntley Paton, publisher of Dallas Business Journal; Jeff Bolton, radio talk show host, from 570 AM KLIF; and Steve Blow, Dallas Morning News. With Jeff Crilley, our famous news reporter bringing us one news media speaker each month to our PR Event meeting at Studio Movie Grill in Addison, during 2007.
We thank the many volunteer from businesses such as Laurie Miller, President and CEO of Apple Care; Kris O'Connor Manager of A1 Affordable Garage Service; Patrick; Jennifer Bagley, President and CEO of Complement International; Mike Newhouse of Unlocking MySpace; Nara, President and CEO of Invinc-A-Kid; Shannon Bordelon from Traveling Vinyard; Wilma, our Assistant Organizer of the DFW (previously called Dallas) Internet Entrepreneur and DFW Entrepreneur Network; and many others who just come in and asked and gave us their helping hands. Thank you!
As for you VIP Members, thank you all for all your support throughout 2007. You have built a foundation of support and landmark and a beginning of a very important piece of our success. With you becoming our VIP members, we were able to continue our many free services for members of our Network. We were able to maintain this most wonderful newsletter website and kept all our members and visitors up to date. We were able to quickly turn around in 24 hours with a Dreamweaver CS3 when the site v.2 couldn't handling our growth. And many more behind the scene admin needs for maintaining a growing Network of over 2,800 members and another 4,500 in our database. Our success is your success. Please everyone, join me and thank our VIP members. Some of them, as you know, became very active in our Network. Some speak from group to group within our Network. Jim Penny, Keith Frein, Jack Howe, Don Preston, Jean Moses and many more. As for Don, he joined our team of Assistant Organizers of the DFW Entrepreneur Network group. Our Assistant Organizers volunteer their service and sharing their expertise with us in various ways. Please join me and welcome Don!
