As much as I want to carry on with the day to do my work and my business, I cannot ignore the fact that today is the day of the first Blackout Day in the history of the Internet because of the protest to stop SOPA and PIPA in our US Congress.

I want to carry on with my business and my busy day of work, but every where I go on the Internet, I come across a black screen of messages.  So, it got my attention.  How many of us are out there, really, like those we called in my old language, "One Eye Open, One Eye Closed."   And no matter what we call it in whatever language, we cannot ignore the fact that "it cannot be everyone is wrong" on something that big and small, rich and poor and everyone and everything in between, as it seems, are standing side by side with one message: Stop SOPA and Stop PIPA.

I heard this message over and over for days and days.  I heard about the day the Internet is going to have a blackout day.  I've been so busy and tried to stay away from it, like many of us busy folks out there.  But I cannot ignore the message, as its outcome will affect all of us.  Even if we do not do anything, we will be one way or another, be part of it.

So, here we go, I will post what I came across on the Internet for all of us to read and to understand, like I just did.  I read the letter from the American Express to our Senators, it moved me.  It touched my heart.  It was so well written in both supportive of the act in some areas, but strongly opposed in other areas.

Here, I have listed places online that you can get more understanding and where to go if you wish to support or read up more about it.  The information here of course is not limited to just what we have or is one sided in any form, but strictly for information only.  If you wish to know more, we strongly recommend that you go online and search on your own.  Thank you.

First, see images of blackout sites that I've collected from Google, Wikipedia, WordPress and more on our site here.

From what I see online from major companies protesting:

Note, this is a day that is part of our history book online.  Support it well.  Read up and increase your understanding on this subject.  We all will be affected one way or another whether we like it or not.  So, stand up and speak up.
