We meet the 2nd and the 4th Wednesday of each month at Capriccio, 420 Parker Square, Flower Mound.
Meeting Minute: Oct. 10, 2007: Charles Horton, CEO of Fast Bucks and Mike Newhouse from Unlocking MySpace spoke at this meeting. Charles explained about the positive mindset at the start of anything will help us deal with any fears and challenges during anything, especially the presentation. Charles explained the importance of presentation do's and don'ts, and some presentation styles. Mike walked everyone through the understanding of MySpace and what it can do for businesses. Both speakers were fantastic. The audience was laughing and having a great time. Mike surely knows how to make his audience laugh. Charles had a very special event hosting at his home that weekend for the CEO Club. Charles invited Mike to speak to the audience of CEOs. I was also invited. Mike did a great job again!
Meeting Minute: Oct. 24, 2007: Jean Moses spoke of the things to do and not to do during a social networking environment. Some of which are do not chew gum when speaking on the phone, smile when talking on the phone, and much more. We're planning on book a special meeting just for table etiquette for our business networking. This way, we can learn more from Jean from the expertise in etiquette. Will keep you all posted.
