What type of small business do you run? (please include the name and website, if you have one)
I’m the President and CEO of GIVE-GIFTS.com, LLC.  We specialize in packaging and customizing Systems Focus On Success in materials and in people resources from online to print for all your business needs.  We do Gifts, Printing Services, Internet Marketing and PR, a full package from start to growth, a campaign with one goal in mind: Success!

We also owns the DFW Business Network, a division of GIVE-GIFTS.com, LLC.   We organizer meeting and events for local businesses and entrepreneurs to meet regularly.  During the meetings, our attendees network, mingle, share ideas, brainstorm, and follow up.  Our format is very unique and flexible to our audience’s needs.

In our Network, we have nine groups from Meetup, business friends and associates, customers and clients, new businesses and potential clients. In order to meet the fast growing demands for our business and our Network, we created the newsletter website: BusinessPRnews.com.  Our members and business friends visit our BusinessPRnews.com for cross references for business information.

Our philosophy remains the same as ever.  Joining our Meetup groups online is free.  It comes with an Internet profile, a link to your website, a picture or a logo.  In addition, we have regular meetings where we network for potential business and referrals.   To further meet the demand of our Network growth, we provide a weekly newsletter update with business news and announcements.

In order to handle all the special requests from everyone, we limited special requests to post online to VIP members only. Our VIP Members receive these VIP benefits.

GIVE-GIFTS.com, LLC is a family owned and a family run business. My husband, David runs the print and marketing side of our business.  Our two sons runs the graphic art department.
I over see everything, make new contacts, new clients, and take good care of customers.

We have special projects that we do for our customers and clients.  For example, we have 6 events in 2008 for the children at Child Protective Services – 15 counties in Dallas. We will have businesses sponsoring 20 tickets, a ticket for two (a child with case worker or two children), for a good lunch and movie,  a dinner at a fine restaurant, a field trip to a special fun-filled place, and so forth.

One very special piece of our business is AIBusinessPro.com. It is currently in developement.  It is a full service audio, video, podcasting, contact management, newsletter campaign and more.  It is an all in one system for businesses to run their media and contacts management smoothly and professionally.

Why did you become a small business/entrepreneur Meetup Organizer?
To easily organize my meetings and events with one simple message to all.  To help new and small businesses to learn and to grow their businesses successfully. To gather friends and business associates for a meeting or two, to talk and plan for projects to focus on and how to build and support a growing business and more.

How has organizing your Meetup helped you grow your business?
I gain the satisfaction of seeing local businesses grow.  I don’t market my products to  our members, unless they ask.

How has your Meetup helped your members' businesses? Do you have a favorite story to share?
FREE PRs, gain new customers, gain recognition in our Network and gained new businesses and referrals.

We have many favorite stories from our meetings and PR Events.
