Different people will come with different agendas for your game plan, especially when they see there is something in it for them. Stay focused. Stay on course. Stay put. Stay in the game and let no one alter your game plan, no mater what. Some people would like to alter your game plan because they see something in it for them. Some people will want to alter your game plan because they think they care and feel that you must do it their way. Some people just simply care and that is fine, but keep your eyes on the ball. What is your original goal? Be flexible, but stay on course.
